The story begins in a fictional version of Yellowstone in 1976, as humans begin to slowly capitalise on tourism in order to fund their efforts in the closing years of the cold war.

A young wolf pup, full of curiosity and determination, has his family's legacy torn apart by his own father. He wishes to learn the truth about the ancestors in an attempt to avoid making the same mistake.

The book is low fantasy genre for young adults (YA). Book contains blood, violence and fictitious offensive language, as well as themes of gore, neglect, discrimination and sexual references. Suitable for audiences aged 13 and over.
